The Question-set Editor provides notification messages to inform on the outcome of an upload. This section will help explain these messages.

Status of an identified assessment

Once a question-set zip file or folder has been uploaded correctly you will receive a notification indicating that a question-set has uploaded into the given tenant. In the example pictured, the tenant is called ‘test’, the folder uploaded is called ‘National Minimum Wage’ and the description is ‘National Minimum Wage *’.

Note - The description is also the assessment category name. This can help you check you are making changes to the correct question-set.

Status of an inserted assessment

Once a question-set zip file or folder has been identified by the application and the user has confirmed the question-set should be inserted into the database, an ‘inserted’ message will appear. If successful, the message will confirm the folder upload name, the tenant and the revision number. In the example pictured, the tenant is called ‘test’, the folder uploaded is called ‘National Minimum Wage’ and the revision number is ‘1’ as this is the first upload.

The question-set zip file or folder may insert into the database successfully, yet it may show a message if the folder contained additional files. Files which are not recognised by the system will be removed from the uploaded folder and a message will appear indicating which files have been removed.

If the question-set zip file or folder is missing required files. A message will appear prompting the user which files are missing. The question-set zip file or folder will not upload in the database.

If the question-set zip file or folder has an error in the files. A message will appear prompting the user where the error is. The question-set zip file or folder will not upload in the database. In the example pictured, there is an error in the sections.csv. The message shows a section title is missing for section1 which can be found on the second row of the sections.csv file.

Status of a completed upload

Once a question-set zip file or folder has been uploaded you will receive either a notification indicating successful completion or failure.
