Flags and comments

Flags

As an assessor, you have an option to ā€˜Flag Answerā€™ if you are not satisfied with the answer that has been given.

Comments

As an assessor, you can use comments to communicate externally with the completer or internally with another assessor, manager, or admin. The Comment box is located underneath each question and on the assessment overview page. Comments found underneath the question are specific to the question and the comments found on the assessment overview page are for the overall assessment. The comment section is split into two tabs, which are titled ā€˜Commentsā€™ and ā€˜Assessor Notesā€™. Each comment is timestamped to the right of the comment authorā€™s name and a little indicator to the left indicates their role in the assessment.Ā  Comments can be edited and deleted by the comment author or the manager.Ā

The ā€˜Commentsā€™ tab allows comments to be made by either the completer, assessor, manager, or admin.Ā  As an assessor, you can use the ā€˜Commentsā€™ tab to ask the Completer about an explanation to their answer or just to add more information/details to their answer. A completer can also use the ā€˜Commentsā€™ tab to reply, clarify and add more details to a question.

Ā

The ā€˜Assessor Notesā€™ tab allows comments to be made and seen by only users with either the assessor, manager, or admin role. As an assessor, you can include any information that is deemed internal only, as it is not available for the completer.

The comment section uses a rich text editor which provides the following functions:

To avoid sending emails for every comment/flag, we disabled email notifications when a comment/flag has been received. Therefore if you will leave a comment on any question, we suggest flagging the answer as well, so that the completer can find it with ease.

The notifications function will also notify you if you have any comments left by the completer/assessor and in which assessment you should look for them.

We suggest using flags on the questions that you have left a comment on, so it will make it easier for the completer to find.
